Dr. Rohit Aloor, MD grew up on the east coast. He went to
elementary/middle school in New Jersey and then high school/college in
Maryland. He received a bachelor of sciences degree in mathematics at
the University of Maryland, College Park. He completed his internal
medicine residency training at MedStar Georgetown. Taking an interest
in research, Dr. Aloor published several papers during his residency
training.

Feeling the need to travel to warmer pastures, Dr. Aloor journeyed to
The Golden State where he completed his fellowship training in
nephrology at UCI Medical Center. He was awarded a HeRO award at the
Veterans Affairs Hospital in Long Beach during his fellowship career,
the first nephrology fellow to be granted this honor. Continuing his
interest in research during his fellowship training, Dr. Aloor's work
was selected to present at a national kidney conference.

Dr. Aloor's goals are to ensure personalized excellence for each
patient. Through shared decision making and thoughtful discussions,
Dr. Aloor believes in crafting a medical plan that encourages teamwork
to cater to every patient's unique needs. Dr. Aloor enjoys having a
sustained relationship with his patients that is built on trust,
understanding, and evidence based medicine.

In his off-time, Dr. Aloor enjoys watching live stand up comedy shows,
supporting his Baltimore Ravens, playing tennis and ping pong,
traveling the world, and developing new hobbies. His current goals are
to become scuba dive certified and licensed to pilot a boat!

Dr. Aloor looks forward to the opportunity to meet new patients in
order to serve the nephrology needs of the Southern California
community.
