Elnaz Malekahmadi, MSN, FNP-C grew up in Zurich, Switzerland before moving to Los Angeles, where a mentorship with a prominent cardiologist during high school set her on the path to nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University with honors, then built her clinical foundation as a registered nurse for a large cardiology group in Beverly Hills — deepening her expertise in hypertension, congestive heart failure, and arrhythmias. Seeking broader clinical exposure, she joined the orthopaedic and trauma unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where her dedication to patient care was recognized with multiple "Standing Ovation" certificates and "Circle of Friends" honors. While working full-time as an RN, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing — Family Nurse Practitioner degree at California State University Long Beach with honors, earning induction into the Phi Kappa Phi honors society. She now brings that depth of cardiology and complex-patient experience to nephrology at Southern California Kidney Associates.

Elnaz speaks English, Farsi, French, and German — and is working on her Spanish. She believes that patient education is the foundation of both treatment and prevention, and she takes time with every patient to make sure they truly understand their care. In her free time, she travels with her husband and is working toward visiting every continent.
